Liz Middleton Childminder

About Me

Hi I am Liz, I live in Clipstone near Mansfield Notts with my partner Leigh, two children, 7 and 6 and my cat.

I am a Ofsted registered childminder and have been for three years. I studied for my NVQ levels 2 and 3 at a local playgroup for 2 years so I’m a qualified Nursery Nurse too. I have also helped to run a Parent and Toddler Group too for two years.

I have certificates for the Introductory Childminding Practice, the Paediatric First Aid and the Early Years Foundation Stage. I am currently studying for the Diploma in Home-based Childcare and have recently been on an anti-bullying workshop.

My Ofsted inspection was rated “Good” in February 2004.

I am a member of the National Childminding Association and have full Public Liability Insurance with Royal and Sun Alliance.

Although we have a cat, she is very rarely around when I have minded children (she’s very lazy)! Our home is also smoke free.

My main aim is to make the children and parents feel welcome in my setting and to provide a warm, safe, family environment to help the children feel safe, happy relaxed and secure while in my care.

We learn a lot through our play activities, we often visit the parent and toddler groups, local parks, Rufford Abbey to feed the ducks, and down to Sherwood Forest to see Robin Hood! (the kids love it)

I will provide activities and experiences for children to play, learn, develop and thrive.

I can also provide references from the parents of the children I care and have cared for in the past.
